Sometime along it's history, someone glued the parts..so it has no moving parts. You will have to strip it down to remove the glue to have a working one. Beautiful shape, no breaks or repairs.

LOT 31 - 1964 FIREBALL XL5 by MPC - Multiple Plastic Co. 20" long. Hard Plastic. Nice Set, has the original Steve Zodiac & Venus on the original Space Sleds - which are perfect condition. The other gray characters are reproductions. The ship is all original with original rockets and all parts. The Rocket Bay doors do not stay on, each has a nub missing. There is a crack going across the (top only) of the right rear wing. (not too noticeable unless pressure is applied, see photos). Two of the little nubs by the exhaust rockets are missing. Capsule windows are fine, top hatch door opens and closes fine with no cracks. Paper stickers show normal wear, but they are all there. ALSO INCLUDED Original B&W 9" x 7" Glossy Promo Photo from the TV Studio.
